BMA FIRES BACK IN COURT DRAMA

Mini Real Estate Tycoon, Boris Mannsfeld & Associates Belize Real Estate (BMA) has locked horns with former employees in a case that’s making waves across the Belizean business community. BMA filed an emergency injunction after their former general manager, Frik Demeyere, allegedly shut down their website, rerouting BMA’s valuable client inquiries to his new venture, Prime Belize Real Estate.

Edit: Belize Real Estate News was able to confirm Boris’s claims with a simple DNS history lookup. It stands to warrant BMA’s claims that there is indeed foul play by Frik De Meyere and his rebranded self “Prime Belize Real Estate” – DNS report showing first registry change being detected on the 30th of May 2024 pointing towards primebelize.com NameServers

BMA’s trusted digital presence of over a decade was allegedly hijacked, with emails and client connections suddenly redirected to Demeyere’s new firm, founded alongside Jaime Wesby and Crystal Augustine. This alleged sabotage didn’t go unnoticed—BMA fought back hard, taking the matter to the Supreme Court, where they ultimately triumphed. On July 30, 2024, the court ordered the return of all BMA’s online assets, including its domain name and email access. But despite the ruling, BMA didn’t regain control until September, after a lengthy delay.

In a powerful statement, BMA announced the return of their old website and introduced two new digital assets: BMABelizeRealEstate.com and PlacenciaRealEstate.com. Reasserting its top spot in Placencia, BMA confirmed that its operations are back on track, ready to continue its 10+ years of service to clients in Belize.

But the plot thickens! According to court documents, Demeyere and his associates are now restricted from accessing BMA’s private client data stored on the company’s CRM system and Dropbox files, ensuring BMA’s confidential client information is protected. The court issued an explicit warning to Demeyere, Wesby, Augustine, and others connected to Prime Belize Real Estate: any interference with BMA’s business could lead to serious contempt charges.

The accusations don’t end there. BMA reports claims from recent clients about alleged attempts by Wesby and Augustine to solicit business under misleading pretenses. One client alleged that Wesby requested $2,000 and sent suspicious DocuSign documents concerning property titles, actions which some view as “extortionate.”

BMA isn’t pulling any punches, with claims of real estate fraud echoing across local news and even YouTube, where Ricardo Borja—alleged to have ties to Demeyere—warns of similar dealings. In a further twist, BMA’s defamation countersuit against Demeyere is reportedly on hold until the conclusion of a pending $3.9 million lawsuit they’ve filed, underscoring BMA’s intent to pursue justice for alleged damages and client losses.

Belize’s business community is buzzing, with industry experts watching closely as this case unfolds. For now, BMA stands tall, promising to continue upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Their message to Belize’s real estate players is crystal clear: in a market as vibrant as Belize, ethics and transparency come first.
